The working process is as follows
(1) Solar Energy Physical Collection and Conversion
Solar panels are usually put on rooftops or areas with abundant sunshine. Solar panels consist of many photovoltaic cells. When sunlight shines on the panels, the semiconductor component of the photovoltaic absorbs the energy of the photons and excites the semiconductor's electrons to jump-thereby creating direct current.
(2) Electric energy management and distribution
The controller is a key regulatory component of the system. It continuously monitors the voltage and current parameters output by the solar panel, in real time, to ensuring stable operation of the solar power generation system. At the same time, the controller intelligently distributes (i.e energy management) the electric energy according to the air conditioner's operating specification and the power condition of the battery. When the solar power generation is adequate and the air conditioner's operating power is low, any excess electric energy will be sent to the battery for energy storage; when the solar power generation is inadequate, or the air conditioner is running at a high-load operation, the controller will automatically switch the power source to grid power (if grid connection supports it), and thus it can maintain continuous and stable operation of the air conditioner.
(3) Refrigeration and heating cycle
The compressor is one of the four main components needed for the air conditioning system to do its cooling and heating regulation.When cooling, the system runs the compressor through the application of electric power, which compresses the refrigerant vapor at a low temperature and low pressure into a high temperature and high-pressure refrigerant vapor. The compressor sends its output of high temperature and high-pressure refrigerant vapor into the condenser where heat is removed from the vapor to the ambient, before the refrigerant vapor is converted into a high-pressure liquid. The liquid is now ready to flow through a throttling device that reduces the pressure of the high-pressure liquid, and it then enters the evaporator. In the evaporator part of the air conditioning system, a process occurs where the refrigerant liquid is rapidly vaporized and absorbs heat from the air which causes the temperature of the air that passes through the evaporator to come down some; and then the cooled air is pushed into the room being cooled through the fan of the indoor unit, and cooling is achieved. In heating mode, in order to achieve the reverse process, the air conditioning system has a four way and other controls that function to send the heat from the outside part of the unit to the inside part, and exchange the evaporator to condenser functions, so the outside air temperature will be made to heat the room being heated.
