Ground Installed solar system, also known as a ground-mounted solar system, is a type of solar power system that is installed on the ground rather than on a roof or other elevated structure. This type of system is commonly used in situations where there is ample available space, such as large open fields or commercial properties.

Ground mounted solar energy systems collect the sun's radiation and convert it to exciting electrical energy. This arrangement consists of a number of core components that work in conjunction: photovoltaic (PV) panels, inverters, stout support structures and cabling.
