It can seamlessly integrate a diesel generator or wind turbine as a secondary charging source. If a week of cloudy weather hits, the system automatically switches to generator backup (if connected) without interrupting your power supply.

Material & Craftsmanship of 1-10 Kw Off-Grid Solar Systems?
Living off-grid means you incur high costs due to the need for maintenance visits. For this reason we over-engineer the components of our system for long-term durability.
Panels: The solar panels on our home are rated to handle extreme weather conditions (e.g. heavy snow (up to 5400Pa), high winds (up to 2400Pa) etc). They use aluminum frame (anodized) and tempered/heat treated glass for extreme durability & longevity; The junction boxes on our panels have an IP68 rating meaning that are sealed from dust & water for long periods due to being submerged.
Mounts: The mounting racks are manufactured with either hot-dipped galvanized steel or aluminum (galvanized steel is used as an option in coastal locations.) By hot-dipping the steel (a new process), the rack systems are protected from rust for decades to come, as opposed to painted steel (where the paint will chip off after a couple of years).
Inverter/Charger: The inverter/charger power units are manufactured using die-cast aluminum enclosures. The die-cast aluminum serves as an extremely large heat sink, enabling passive cooling of the system. This results in no noisy fans running continuously, and most importantly, eliminates the build-up of dust inside the inverter/charger leading to premature failure.
