The Packaging of Growatt MID 30KW Inverter

Getting a solar system to a remote mine site in the Andes or an island in the Pacific requires more than just a cardboard box. We employ a multi-layer "Expeditionary Packaging" protocol.
Stage 1: Vapor Barrier & Desiccation: Before any foam is added, sensitive electronics (inverters, controllers) are sealed in military-grade Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) bags. We include humidity indicator cards and silica gel desiccant packs inside the sealed units to ensure that moisture during ocean transit does not corrode circuit boards.
Phase 2: Cushioning & Isolation: The solar panels use foam edging to hold their ends apart and are separated with corrugated cardboard.
Solar panels are not simply "stacked" in each layer; they are all isolated so they cannot create micro-cracking due to vibration. All air freight solar panels are packaged using anti-static bubble wrap.
Phase 3: The Outer "Shell" (Custom Crates): All pieces go into custom-built wooden crates made of heat-treated plywood with bearings, according to ISPM 15 compliance. The crates are designed for stacking and lifting by either a lift truck or in a standard fashion. All heavy or high-value items are supported with blocks or braces inside the crate, preventing internal movement, even if the crate is placed on the side during loading.
Phase 4: Labeling For Logistics: All containers are marked with an indicator that reads "This Side Up" and/or with fragile labels (English, Spanish and French). Also, each container has a QR code that links to a specific packing list along with a demonstration video, for workers at the local port who cannot communicate in English.
