Commercial roofs often face multiple orientations and suffer from partial shading due to HVAC units or parapets. The Deye 40-50KW Inverter features 4 independent MPP trackers (with the 40kW model featuring 3) with a wide voltage range (200V-1000V).
The Advantage: The benefit of these inverters over a standard inverter with fewer trackers is that you can connect the strings in multiple orientations (for example; east, south, and west) without risking a voltage mismatch and losing energy from your PV system. These inverters have ultra-high efficiencies of 98.7% therefore they will convert all of the energy created each hour into watts and add to the power grid.

Today"s grid is dynamic. This inverter is designed to interact with it intelligently.
VSG & Zero Export: It supports Virtual Synchronous Generator (VSG) applications, providing grid stability. For sites with demand limitations, the "Zero Export" feature ensures you never feed power back to the grid, making it compliant with strict local utility regulations.
Diesel Generator Compatibility: This feature makes it easy to integrate diesel generators into hybrid microgrids or locations where the grid is unstable. The frequency droop control provides this.
3. Built on a Foundation of Safety
Safety is non-negotiable for commercial properties. The G04 series is engineered with dual-layer protection:
Physical Layer: IP65 rated for water and dust ingress; thus, it can be mounted outdoors without the need for an additional enclosure, thus reducing total installation cost.
System Layer: The Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) option detects and extinguishes DC arcing, providing protection from fire hazards. Together with Type II DC Surge Protection, your asset will be protected in extreme weather.

String-Level Monitoring: By enabling string intelligent monitoring (with optional configuration), the installer can determine which of the strings are performing poorly based on their historical performance from a smartphone or laptop without having to send a technician to the roof to diagnose.

Q: What is the standard warranty on this product? Will there be an option to extend the warranty?
A: The standard warranty for this product is five years. For large commercial projects, Deye has extended warranty programs available (up to a maximum of 10 and 20 years) to cover the duration of your PPA or finance agreement.
Q: Can the inverter be installed at altitudes over the maximum specified installation altitude?
A: You can installer an inverter at elevation locations of up to 4000 meters (13,123 ft). Therefore, based on the inverter's mounting location having no impact on its' performance, the inverter will operate at or above its maximum design performance limit (subject to derating) regardless of the elevation.
Q: What is the intelligent cooling system and how does it work?
A: Intelligent Cooling System (ICS) uses variable speed fans as opposed to fixed-speed continuously operating (24/7) fan systems. The variable speed fan system only engages when needed to maintain the correct interior temperature of the inverter with respect to outside temperature and load on the inverter, therefore resulting in less dust accumulating on the fans causing them to have an extended lifespan, require less maintenance and have lower OPEX.
